Dr Apamu Jacques Mapele qualified as a medical doctor and graduated MBCH. As early as during his secondary school and undergraduate studies, he was passionate about children and their well-being. Following the foot step of his late father that he shares the name. He decided quiet promptly on in his young medical career that he would be a paediatrician.
After working for a time in a regional hospital in department of paediatrics in South Africa. He completed his Diploma in HIV management and then proceeded to complete the Fellowship in Paediatrics at the College of Medicine of South Africa.
He also completed a Master in Medicine Degree looking into an audit of culture-proven neonatal sepsis a tertiary hospital in South Africa: A retrospective review, with the university of the Witwatersrand.
He has extensive experience in neonatal care, acute emergencies in paediatrics, as well as
management of chronic conditions in children. He works in major hospital in Johannesburg.
Dr A Jacques Mapele then set up private practice in Johannesburg, at Netcare Lakeview
hospital in Benoni and at Life Rose Acres hospital in Germiston.
He attends to new born care, follow-up, inpatient paediatric care as well as outpatient
